Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you register, list a business, submit verifications, publish opportunities or posts, and message other members. This includes your name, email, phone/WhatsApp, business details, and documents you upload (proof of registration, certifications). We also collect usage data (pages viewed, features used) and technical data (IP address, device, browser) to operate and secure the platform.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate iReach (hosting, AI, email, payments) under contract, or where required by law.

• Operating your account, business profile, search, and matching
• Powering Scout discovery and AI-drafted outreach for your review
• Enabling verified, cross-border B2B introductions across Africa
• Processing manual subscription payments and enforcing plan quotas
• Sending service, security, and account notifications
• Aggregate, non-identifying analytics to improve the platform

Verification documents

Documents you upload for verification are stored securely and are visible only to you and the iReach admin review team, not to other members. Verification status is shown publicly; the underlying documents are not.

Outreach & Scout

When you run a Scout campaign, iReach generates AI-drafted outreach messages for your review. Messages are only sent after you approve them. Recipients may opt out of further contact at any time, and we respect opt-outs automatically. You are responsible for ensuring your outreach complies with the data-protection and anti-spam laws of your recipients' jurisdictions.

Data security & retention

Records are access-controlled per member (row-level security) so one business cannot read another's private messages, responses, or documents. We retain your data while your account is active. Payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial law.

Your rights & choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. You may request deletion of your business listing and personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

International & pan-African transfers

iReach serves businesses across Africa and may process data outside your home country. We comply with applicable data-protection laws, including: Zambia Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021; South Africa POPIA; Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023; Kenya Data Protection Act 2019; Ghana Data Protection Act 2012; Egypt Personal Data Protection Law; Rwanda Law N°058/2021; Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019; Morocco Law 09-08; and the EU GDPR where applicable. Where we transfer your data outside these jurisdictions we apply appropriate safeguards.
